The annual event gathering key stakeholders from Germany and from the EU will be taking place in Hamburg on the 19^th and 20th of May 2011. Organised by the Coalition partner iff and supported by the German consumer organisations and debt advice association, issues on the first day, Thursday 19th of May will have English translation provided and will feature international speakers including a representative of the European Commission’s DG Internal Market. 

Under the header "Fairness and Responsibility", the 2011 international conference on financial services will feature simultaneous translation into English in the main auditorium. Issues to be discussed there will include:

• Greater Consumer Protection through Supervision?
• EU Mortgage Credit Directive - Discussions
• Credit for vulnerable Households – Access, small Credit and Interest Rate Restrictions
