La COALITION EUROPÉENNE POUR LE CREDIT RESPONSABLE: Création formelle de l’ECRC lors de la Conférence de Bruxelles 2006 – l’évènement est un grand succès. PHOTOS et RAPPORT de Conférence téléchargeable. La conférence internationale de Bruxelles, fin avril, a réuni 153 experts venant de 28 pays dans quatre continents, parlant plus de 18 langues différentes. Ensemble, Hommes politiques européens (de gouvernements nationaux et du Parlement européen), banques centrales, autorités bancaires, professionnels du Bureau International du Travail, du Comité économique et social de l’UE et de la DG Entreprise (même si la DG Marché et la DG SANCO n'ont pas donné de réponses positive à nos invitations), ont discuté du crédit responsable. Ceci dans le cadre de douze ateliers et trois séances plénières, où 74 présentations ont été faites, et où banquiers (d’établissement grand ou petit), acteurs et intéressés de la sphère financière, organisations de consommateurs (les plus importantes), organismes de conseils financiers, associations religieuses, et communauté universitaire, ont discutés de façon constructive, des aspects du crédit tels le crédit social, le surendettement, la pédagogie financière et le financement juste. Cette conférence a marqué le point de départ, concrétisant la mise en place de la nouvelle Coalition européenne pour le Crédit Responsable (ECRC). Certaines organisations et personnes se sont portées volontaires pour être membres du comité directeur initial. L’iff s'occupera de ses aspects administratifs pendant les prochains mois à venir. LA COALTION À DECIDÉ DE FAIRE LE SUIVANT(en anglais): • present its seven principles of responsible credit which had been widely accepted by all NGO speakers at the conference for signature to all stakeholder from non-for profit organisations and institutions as well as to individual experts and also the supplier side, • solicit more membership especially in those countries who had not yet been active for the ECRC, • found an International Coalition for Responsible Credit and Community Reinvestment between ECRC and NCRC open to organisations from other continents and states, • initiate national conferences and meetings in spring and summer 2007 in as many countries as possible to • prepare the next international conference to be held at the same premises in Brussels on September 14/15, 2007. • continue the four websites and decentralise the responsibility for its contents to national organisations still on the basis that all websites store their information in one database from where it can be translated and appear on the other websites too.
